Bio

My enthusiasm for myth, legend, and history is a result of growing up in the ancestral Ktunaxa lands that my mother’s people migrated to and from centuries ago and of hearing the Norse legends of my father’s people from Norway. A love of books was sparked by the gorgeous illustrations created by artists of the Golden Age of Illustration and the Belle Époque. These books revealed glimpses of worlds of endless fascinations. With so many traditional methods, techniques and approaches to experiment with, I had no question that I wanted to be an illustrator to express my slightly twisted sense of humour and my absolute love for the whimsical.
