The Squid Wreck Rides Again
The squid wreck was brought from it’s murky depths to participate in Puppets UP! Exhibition at the Café for Contemporary Art (CAFCA) September 12 to 29, featuring the works of Coad Puppets Canada, Rababoo Puppet Theatre, Anachronism Pictures, Carnival Sized Cinnamon Hearts, Mind of a Snail, Lost & Found Puppet Co., Riley Anderson, Kellie Haines & Co., Flexible Theatre, Kristyna Zemanova, Beth Lee, Little Woo, Puppets on Permaculture, Rear Entry, David Goodwin, Vasan Sitthiket
“The Anachronism” was also screened at the Café for Contemporary Art with the body of work of Matthew Gordon Long in the CAFCA film series also featuring the work of film makers Duane Gastant’ Aucoin, Stephen Gillis, Juan Riedinger and Ryan Steele
The story surrounding the discovery of this mysterious vessel doesn’t end with the film. New artifacts have been unearthed that may shed some light on the events that took place on that sun dappled afternoon so many years ago…
